This is a "drag behind the car, don't bother strapping it to the roof" kind of bag. Built from air textured 1000D nylon, complete with a 420D nylon liner, and 6mm of closed cell padding, it will take a thrashing. This is a good thing as the previous bag tore in the corners, absorbed water (and stunk!), and the zipper seized up due to salt build up.
The new bag has a tapered end which ensures the board and boots fits neatly. The previous bag was a flat design which made it hard to fit the board in. The zipper used is also a #10 (a big beefy zipper!) constructed from nylon. Needless to say, it wont seize up in salt water!
There is also a massive external pocket behind the "BO" logo on the bag. Perfect for stashing your kit before hitting the water.
